A friendship group in Yorkshire reached out to our catering manager Jon to arrange catering for their upcoming themed party. The group had discussed a variety of different potential themes for the party, before settling on ‘Choose your Decade’! This meant that the guests could dress up in their favourite era and enjoy décor and music from across the ages, as well as some delicious Hog Roast Tadcaster catering. For the menu, Jon was asked to provide catering for 70 guests, including a tasty vegetarian option. The menu needed to be buffet-style, so it was decided that our Classic Hog Roast was the ideal choice.
On the day of the event, Jon and the Hog Roast Tadcaster team arrived in advance of the 7:00pm mealtime to begin the food preparation. We began by cooking the hog and ensuring that it was roasted to perfection and packed full of tasty juices and natural flavours. Once cooked, the meat was carved and served in fresh bread rolls, alongside sage and onion stuffing, and fresh applesauce. For the vegetarian guests, we also served BBQ pulled jackfruit, which is a delicious meat alternative. The main dishes were served with chips and fresh salad options, to create a nutritious and varied menu. Our menu went down a treat at the event and it was great to see everyone enjoying what we had to offer!
