Marie has a large family, with siblings living across the UK and spread as far as Scotland and London. Because of the distance, it is not often that the whole family is able to gather together, so each year a reunion event is planned to ensure that everyone can meet. The event is always in the summer so that the large family can meet on the farmland behind Marie’s home in Yorkshire. This year, Hog Roast Gargrave has been hired to cater for the occasion with our delicious BBQ menu. Our catering manager Steven suggested this menu since it includes a wide variety of dishes, making it ideal for such a varied guest list. It is also the perfect menu for enjoying on a sunny day!
In preparation for this event, Jon and the Hog Roast Gargrave team will arrive at the venue in the morning and begin to prepare for the midday serving time. We will start with the main dishes, which are set to include succulent pork sausages, juicy British beef burgers, halloumi and vegetable skewers, marinated chicken kebabs, and BBQ spareribs. These dishes will be served in fresh bread rolls or a gluten-free alternative. For the sides, we will be providing homemade chips, sweet potato fries, gourmet coleslaw, a selection of seasonal salad dishes, and corn cobettes. Overall, this will create a varied and delicious menu, with more than enough on offer for everyone to enjoy!
