Today, Hog Roast Settle is here to remind you that it’s never too early to pre-book your Christmas catering! And with less than 60 days to go until the day we’ve all been looking forward to arrives, our team is becoming increasingly busy with Xmas events and celebrations!
As we all know, when it comes to Christmas, the festivities aren’t isolated to just one day. In addition to the holiday itself, we’ve got Christmas Eve and Boxing Day to look forward to, as well as a whole host of events scheduled between now and then. These include work parties, community events and, our personal favourite, winter markets!
These open-air celebrations will, of course, differ slightly from region to region. But one thing they all guarantee is a warm and festive atmosphere that lifts people’s spirits and puts everyone in the mood for celebrating! And it’s for these very reasons that our Hog Roast Settle team always looks forward to taking part in these events.
So, with that, we’re delighted to share that as well as being inundated with requests to attend private celebrations and corporate functions, we’ve also been asked along to several Christmas markets over the coming weeks!
Our first winter market of the year will actually be taking place next weekend, and to say we’re excited is an understatement! To keep things simple and ensure that we can keep up with demand on the day, our team plans to serve our popular hog roast rolls, which consist of luscious shredded pork with crispy and bubbling crackling, sage and onion savoury stuffing on gluten-free and wholemeal cobs with a dollop of applesauce for an extra burst of flavour.
Our catering manager, Steven, has also promised the client that there will be a vegan-friendly option on offer, which, on this occasion, will consist of our BBQ pulled jackfruit rolls with vegan coleslaw. Plus, with the event being in celebration of Christmas, we’ve been asked to include our handmade mince pies with warm brandy cream and a non-alcoholic version of our iconic mulled wine recipe.
