The pair had picked the Mytholmroyd community centre as their venue and Hog Roast Hebden Bridge was delighted to be on food duty. With 115 guests to feed (and a celebration stretching well into the evening) Hannah and Jude had their sights set on a hearty menu that would keep spirits high and stomachs full. Our Southern Slow Roast Menu checked their boxes perfectly.
Hog Roast Hebden Bridge spent all afternoon prepping this mouth-watering spread, which offered meat-lovers a choice of BBQ pork butt, fall-apart Texan 24-hour beef brisket and Cajun-spiced roasted chickens. Meanwhile those following vegetarian or vegan diets were treated to grilled vegetable kebabs with optional halloumi, tzatziki dip and a punchy sweet chilli sauce.
And the sides? A dream. Greek salad, buttery corn cobettes, indulgent mac and cheese and a choice of sweet potato and classic fries complete with salt, vinegar and a whole line-up of sauces.
But the best part of the day for us was hearing Hannah and Jude gush about the “absolutely amazing food,” the generous portions and how cared for they felt by our team.
