Hog Roast Eggborough loves a good get together, so much so we made our entire business around it! One of our favourite annual occasions is St Patrick’s Day as it always bring good craic, and great community celebrations. An inclusive holiday that tends to be all about just enjoying yourself in great company – a philosophy which Hog Roast Eggborough can certainly get behind!
People love to come together on St Patrick’s Day, adorned in as much green as can feasibly fit in a wardrobe and drink as much Guinness as possible. But sometimes amongst all that Guinness and Irish Whisky you want a great meal to go with it too, and that is where Hog Roast Eggborough can certainly help. We attended some brilliant St Patrick’s Day celebrations this past weekend, keeping guests fuelled as they jigged and two stepped all through the night. Our roasts keep guests going and help to soak up all that Guinness as we deliver some much-needed grub to a day of drinking and dancing.
As an example, one of our St Patrick’s Day events, hosted by Aidan and his wife Lorna and attended by their friends and extensive family, enjoyed our specialist hog roast made fresh at the event hall and carved professional and served buffet style with an accompaniment of baby roast potatoes, homemade coleslaw, halloumi and veg skewers, gluten free bread rolls, fries, grilled sausages, seasonal mixed leaves, and our heritage tomato and mozzarella salad. With the buffet style of event catering guests were able to enjoy our brilliant food at their choosing in between bouts of dancing and jigging, keeping the party going long into the night. With a live band performing some Irish classics it was a wonderful night for all, and we can’t wait for next year to come around again so we can enjoy even more St Paddy’s merriment!
No doubt there will have been a few sore heads in the morning, but we know that any leftovers from our Hog Roast Eggborough feast will have been able to nurse the hangover and get you going again!
