There’s a saying that people remember good food. We’d add something to that: they also remember how you made them feel.
Bev is one of those clients.
That’s why repeat bookings always put a smile on our faces. We love meeting new clients, of course, but there’s something especially rewarding about getting a call from someone who’s trusted us before. It tells us we’ve done our job properly.
As the director of ABLP Hestia Ltd, she has the important task of organising company events that everyone will actually enjoy, which, if you’ve ever been in charge of planning an event before, you’ll know isn’t always an easy feat. Fortunately, this wasn’t her first rodeo, and when a summer staff party needed organising, Hog Roast Dewsbury was the first call she made.
Having worked with us thrice before, she came to the conversation already knowing what she wanted. Bev had a few tweaks in mind, but our Gourmet BBQ Menu formed the heart of the feast – and we were very happy to make it happen exactly as she envisioned.
The day itself was everything a summer party deserves. Balmy temperatures, azure blue skies and a gentle breeze set the perfect tone for the day and Hog Roast Dewsbury wasted no time firing up the grill and getting stuck into food prep. Before long, people were gathering around to see what was on offer.
Freshly grilled butcher’s sausages, handmade 100% British beef burgers, Thai chicken kebabs, slow-roasted pulled pork and crisp crackling made up the main event. Alongside them sat seasonal green leaf salad, creamy coleslaw, golden fries and gluten-free rolls, while a smoky Jack Daniel’s BBQ sauce gave guests another excuse to go back for “just one more” burger.
By the end of the afternoon, the food had disappeared, the compliments were flowing our way and Bev was every bit as delighted with Hog Roast Dewsbury as she had been after her previous bookings.
