Hog Roast York Can’t Wait For Wedding Season 2026!

To everyone who followed along with Hog Roast York last year – thank you. Honestly. Whether you booked us for an event, turned up hungry to something we were catering, or quietly lurked on our socials just to admire the food (we see you), we really appreciate it. Every like, comment, recommendation, and booking helps us keep doing what we love, and we don’t take that for granted for a second.

Now that 2026 has officially arrived, we’re shaking off the last of the Christmas crumbs and getting ready for what’s shaping up to be a very busy year. Hog Roast York is heading into the new season with plenty of excitement, a full inbox, and a calendar that’s already starting to fill faster than we expected. Being known as the region’s go-to hog roast caterer means enquiries come from all angles – and we love the variety that brings.

As a bunch of self-confessed hopeless romantics, one thing Hog Roast York is especially looking forward to this year is wedding season. There’s just something really special about being part of someone’s big day, and 2026 is already looking promising on that front. If you’ve recently got engaged (congratulations, by the way) or you’re deep into wedding planning mode, this is definitely the year to keep an eye on what we’re up to.

Last year, Hog Roast York got out and about as much as possible, attending wedding fairs and events across the region to meet with couples face to face. The good news? We’re hoping to squeeze in even more this year – so stay tuned. These events are a great chance to chat properly, ask questions, and get a feel for how we work. They’re also perfect if you like the idea of trying before you commit or want to explore bespoke menu options rather than a one-size-fits-all approach.

Hog Roast York has already got a good number of weddings booked in for 2026, and with so many proposals happening over the festive period, the enquiries have definitely ramped up these last few weeks.

Dates don’t hang around for long though – especially during peak season – so if Hog Roast York is on your shortlist take our advice and get in touch sooner rather than later.
