This September, the Hog Roast Knaresborough team was contacted to provide autumnal catering for Scott and Olivia’s wedding reception. The menu needed to be tasty and warming, featuring canapés and a delicious main course, followed by a wedding cake. Our team have many comforting dishes so there were lots of options for the couple to choose from. In the end, they decided that a classic hog roast would be the ideal choice!
As the guests arrived at the venue, we began by serving them a selection of delicious canapés. This included mini fish and chips, duck breast, fresh salmon, and mini pizzas. Canapés are a great way to introduce your guests to our catering and prepare them for a delicious meal!
The main course was a Hog Roast Knaresborough classic: a slow-roasted hog served with all of the trimmings. This is our most comforting main meal and it is classic for an autumnal event. the hog was served with a variety of sides, including sage and onion stuffing, homemade applesauce, and crispy crackling.
To finish the menu, the guests enjoyed a slice of beautiful wedding cake that had been provided by the couple.
Seasonal weddings are always a lot of fun to cater for and it was great to provide such a cosy and autumnal wedding for this event. The guests loved what we had to offer and our catering was a great addition to an already wonderful reception.
