Hog Roast Garforth was delighted to hear from Simon again earlier on in the month! As one of our repeat customers, we always look forward to working with him to create memorable events, and his most recent party will definitely be remembered for a long time to come!
As soon as Simon began planning for the event, which was in celebration of a 90th birthday, he thought of us. And after talking things over with our catering manager, Jon, they both agreed that our Southern Slow Roast Menu would work out perfectly for everyone’s needs on this occasion.
With 40 people coming together to commemorate the landmark birthday, Simon had also asked us to customise the menu a little bit by adding in a fourth meat dish and incorporating a pair of dessert options for after the main meal. Hog Roast Garforth was, as always, happy to make these adjustments for Simon, and when the day of the party arrived, our team were ready and raring to go!
Committed to preparing a spectacular spread and blowing Simon away, once again, with our unrivalled cooking skills, the Hog Roast Garforth team arrived at the client’s home early in the morning on the day of the party. Making the most of the spacious back garden, our caterers pitched a gazebo and set up serving tables, which were used to present a buffet of Memphis style crunchy coleslaw, Greek salad and desserts to the guests.
Meanwhile, the team used chafing dishes to keep the hot food steaming hot. This included our BBQ pork butt, Cajun-spiced whole roast chickens, beef brisket, sticky ribs, chips, roast potatoes, corn cobettes, and grilled vegetable and halloumi skewers. To help the guests navigate the expansive menu with ease our team used chalkboards to write up the available food, which also helped to keep a large queue from forming.
Everyone was delighted with the variety of food on offer, and after devouring the savoury main course and sides, the guests were pleased to have our profiteroles and vacherins of strawberries with passion fruit cream to dig into, which ended the afternoon perfectly!
