Tony and Helen had decided to have their wedding celebration meal a week after the ceremony for their friends. They had Spitting Pig Yorkshire supply their catering so all the pressure was well and truly behind them. Tony being a Kiwi lead to some friendly batter between him and Aussie Jon regarding the resent ANZAC test which went Australia’s way. The Selby village hall, hog roast Brayton, was the prefect venue for this informal gathering.
The guests arrived and were well fed by a beautifully presented and locally sourced Yorkshire hog roast. We served up a hog roast Brayton, with all the accompaniments, fresh home made salads, potatoes and our vegetarian option, home made quiche. The next day the newlyweds were flying to New Zealand then a week in five star Dubai. So I guess Tony had the last laugh!
